Week 2: Build a Paper Tower (guest challenge from ArchForKids)
Attention Creative People! Are you ready to find out what's in store for Week 2 of the #ghhnvcon20 #creativityincubator Creativity Challenge? It's a fun one!

This week we asked ArchForKids-architecture for children to propose a challenge that will help activate your creativity and challenge your architecture and engineering knowledge. Using only 10 sheets of paper, tape, and scissors you are tasked to construct an architectural tower while focusing on height, stability and strength. You also have a 15 minute time limit.

(Bonus points this week if you measure your tower and if it's stable enough to support an item heavier than a sheet of paper!)

Each week during the GHHN 2020 Virtual Conference (#ghhnvcon20), we'll be issuing a Creativity Challenge to help you exercise your creative thinking skills. Post your completed challenges to Instagram and use #theghhn #nyscasupported and #ghhnvcon20 and be sure to tag @theghhn and @nyscouncilonthearts.

Greetings Creative People! The NYSCA/GHHN #creativityincubator Creativity Instagram Challenge is officially live and open for submissions!

Here's how to participate (and yes, you can partake even if you haven't attended #ghhnvcon20):
1. Watch the video 
2. Download the 30 Circles Sheet below or from here: https://tinyurl.com/y2cld72f
3. Upload your completed challenge to Instagram and tag @theGHHN and New York State Council on the Arts, use #creativityincubator , #nyscasupported, and #ghhnvcon20. If you don't have Instagram, that's ok, just e-mail your submission to [email protected]
4. Watch the hashtags to see other submissions and check back next weekto see what your second challenge will be!
