Collections Consultant List

Following in the footsteps of the extremely successful IMLS C2CNYS Circuit Rider Program, the NYSCA/GHHN Site Assessment Grant Program with NYSCA will provide an opportunity for collections support. Collections Consultants are hired by sites to conduct a visit on a particular collections care topic, which includes a written report. As an aid to sites applying to this program, GHHN has created this Consultant Resource List. This list is intended to serve as a resource for sites to locate an appropriate consultant.  Inclusion on this list does not indicate endorsement by the New York State Council on the Arts or Greater Hudson Heritage Network or guarantee a consultancy. Sites will reach out to potential consultants directly to discuss their project, timeline, and scope of work.

The NYSCA/GHHN Site Assessment Grant Program will award $1,000 for one half-day site visit,  which includes a written report (at least 3 pages, must include recommendations and resources, provided to the site within 3 weeks of visit) and round trip travel (within NYS only).  The consultant will be paid directly by the site with the awarded grant funds.
