Site Assessment Consultant List
The NYSCA/GHHN Conservation Grant Program: Site Assessment Grant provides an opportunity for collections support. Site Assessment Consultants are hired by sites to conduct a visit on a particular collections care topic, which includes a written report. As an aid to sites applying to this program, GHHN has created this list to serve as resource for sites to locate an appropriate consultant - however, you are welcome to choose consultants who do not appear on this list, as long as they are appropriate for the site assessment. Inclusion on this list does not indicate endorsement by the New York State Council on the Arts or Greater Hudson Heritage Network or guarantee a consultancy. Sites must reach out to potential consultants directly to discuss their project, timeline, and scope of work before applying to the grant program.
The NYSCA/GHHN Site Assessment Grant Program will award $1,000 for one half-day site visit, which includes a written report (at least 3 pages, must include recommendations and resources, provided to the site within 3 weeks of visit) and round trip travel (within NYS only). The consultant will be paid directly by the site with the awarded grant funds.
