Elizabeth Bradley, Ph.D., is Vice President of Programs and Engagement at Historic Hudson Valley, where she directs on-site and digital interpretation and outreach for five historic properties. She is the author of Knickerbocker: The Myth Behind New York and New York (Cityscopes) and the editor of two Penguin Classic editions of Washington Irving's work. Dr. Bradley, who serves as a Fellow of the New York Academy of History, has also been published in The Cambridge Companion to the Literature of New York, The Encyclopedia of New York, The New York Times, and Smithsonian.
