Cassie Ward has served as the Executive Director of the Putnam History Museum in Cold Spring, New York, since September 2019. Holding a Master's of Art in History, with concentrations in American and Public History from American University, her experience includes roles in the Heritage Education Services Department of the National Park Service and National Register of Historic Places. Ward’s career in New York state’s historic sites and museums began in 2015, marked by her involvement in over 20 exhibitions, countless public programs, and archival & special collections management. Prior to her current role, Ward served as the Executive Director of the New Castle Historical Society and Horace Greeley House Museum in Chappaqua, New York.
