Picture
Brian Dore is a lifelong resident of Yonkers, New York. He studied Business Administration at Berkeley
College in White Plains, NY. His first full-time job was with the Hudson River Museum working in the
Finance and Administration Department as the Financial Administrator. He is currently the Director of
Finance & Administration for The New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City. He earned his
Master’s in Public Accounting at Mercy College in 2014 and in 2018 was hired as an adjunct professor
teaching introductory courses in Financial and Managerial Accounting. Brian is also actively involved
with Yonkers Pride, as their Treasurer, whose mission is to produce inclusive, secure, and fun programs
that promote the freedom of expression, motivate activists in the on-going fight for equal rights, and to
honor and celebrate the diversity of the Yonkers LGBTQ+ community, their families, and allies.
