Zachary Veith is the Historic Site Assistant at Staatsburgh State Historic Site, where he conducts original research with historic house collections, presents programming for diverse audiences, and builds partnerships with regional organizations. Veith’s current research includes nineteenth-century Black communities, the material legacy of the American Revolution, and cocktails of the Gilded Age; his research has appeared in the Hudson River Valley Review, the Poughkeepsie Journal, and the Dutchess County Yearbook. He holds a B.A. in History from SUNY Geneseo and an M.A. in Museum Studies from University College London.
