Nancy Dana Gold founded The Gold Standard in April 1992, after having served for ten years as Director of Marketing and Public Affairs for Historic Hudson Valley. A graduate of Wellesley College with a major in History, Ms. Gold works creatively with businesses, hotels, arts groups and other non-profit organizations and agencies to develop effective marketing communications programs. Since 1995, she has directed the Historic Hudson River Towns, a consortium of municipalities focused on local and regional economic development through tourism marketing.
Ms. Gold serves on the board of the Women's Enterprise Development Center, Inc. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Westchester County Association. The Gold Standard is certified by New York State as a woman-owned business enterprise.
