Frank Sanchis is currently Director of United States Programs at the World Monuments Fund in New York City. In the past, he served as Director of the Municipal Art Society of New York; Vice President for Historic Sites at the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, DC; and Director of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. He is a historic preservationist and registered architect and is the author of American Architecture: Westchester County, New York, a 600-page book which he illustrated largely with his own photographs. Mr. Sanchis currently serves on the boards of the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development, Arkville, NY, and The Historic House Trust of New York City. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Sanchis is an avid traveler and continues to visit historic sites around the world.
