In an effort to gain insight into the thoughts and needs of our constituents as we go forward with our strategic planning, Greater Hudson will be instituting a series of “listening sessions” with stakeholders in the organization and participants in our various programs.
We want to hear from you.
We need to know what you feel you need from a service organization.
Can a statewide service organization provide the types of instruction and information that your institution needs in a timely and financially reasonable manner? How important is it to you to have locally available workshops and person-to-person instruction? Is it important that you know what other organizations in your immediate region are doing or is a statewide reference point of more value? Do you need/want networking opportunities in your immediate area on a regular basis, or do you find it of more value to meet with a larger constituency on an annual basis? What are your primary concerns right now? Will those remain your primary concerns in the future?

Over the next few months Greater Hudson will be offering programs on various topics of interest. At the conclusion of the programs we will be holding our listening sessions and hope that you will be able to join us. If you are unable to make it to one of our programs, we invite you to drop in for the listening session.
You do not need to attend the program to attend the listening session. Your opinion will help shape the future direction of GHHN.

The Listening Session will begin at 4:00 PM
Following our listening sessions the board will come together again to learn what our constituents believe museum service organizations in New York in general and Greater Hudson in particular should provide. That information will play a critical role in the board’s decisions as we chart the goals and priorities of the organization for the next five years.
