Jack Braunlein is the director of Lyndhurst, a historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Tarrytown. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Delaware, an M.A. in American folk culture from the Cooperstown Graduate Programs, and he received additional training at the Winterthur Institute and the Attingham Summer School in Great Britain. He has held a variety of museum positions, including director of the Delaware Bureau of Museums and Historic Sites, Rockwood Museum, and Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz. He has taught museum studies at the University of Delaware and currently serves on the board of the Greater Hudson Heritage Network
